I noticed that about Morgan and JJ, too, but then realized it’s because the rest of the team has no idea right now that JJ was in on it. Hotch said it was all him and JJ hasn’t volunteered that she knew. So that’s another shoe to potentially drop.

Ah, that’s an interesting point! I had assumed that enough time had passed between Prentiss’ return/Doyle’s capture and death/the resolution of the case and the hearing that the whole truth would have come out, if only because the rest of the team would have wanted to know what’s going on… but we don’t know that for sure, do we?

It would be cool if we get to see them find out next week that JJ was in on it. I think that would definitely up the tension between her, Morgan, and Reid, at least.

But on a serious note what moved me most about Morgan and impressed me most about SM’s acting wasn’t the immediate reaction to Prentiss’ return but how even when they had all moved on and were working the case you could still hear it in his voice and see it in his eyes… my god.
